Data we use. (a) the address of the website you want checked; (b) your email address, to send you the result; (c) anything you write in the message field; (d) the technical scan results; (e) for payments: the data Stripe processes.
Why, and on what basis. To run the scan and send you the result or report. This is needed to do what you ask us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.
How long we keep it. Requests and scan results are kept for at most 90 days and then deleted. If we find a password or key, we never store it in full, only masked. Records we must keep for tax purposes (such as invoices) are kept as long as the law requires.
Who else processes it. Cloudflare (hosting, the form and email forwarding), Resend (sending email from the form), our email provider (receiving requests) and Stripe (payments). We use an AI assistant, Fig, to run the scan and draft the report text. We never sell your data.
Cookies and analytics. This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers. Our host Cloudflare keeps general server statistics by default, such as the number of visits, without cookies.
Your rights. You can ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Email info@webcontroleur.nl. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
About AI. Fig, an AI assistant, runs the scan and drafts the report. A person reviews every report before it is sent to you (EU AI Act, Art. 50).
